Community Events and Training Courses
Our goal at Villagehood Australia is to build more resilient communities through a variety of events and training courses.
Our Community Events bring people together to learn, connect and support each other, while also raising awareness about the importance of supporting the health and wellbeing of mothers in the community. Through these events, we also raise funds for our charity, enabling us to continue delivering our main programs for free.
Our Training Courses are another important aspect of our mission. These courses are available to the community and provide practical skills that can be used to respond effectively in emergencies. But beyond that, they also promote a sense of community responsibility and encourage individuals to take an active role in supporting the well-being of those around them. By providing access to these courses, we empower individuals to take action in times of need, and in doing so, we play an important role in building more resilient communities.

For the past couple of years, we have partnered with the Fulham Community Centre to create unique cultural events for the community. This year (and for the third year in a row), we celebrated NAIDOC together with Uncle Jack, Auntie Angelena and the community. It was a great opportunity for us all to learn and connect with Culture.
